In conversation with Oliver Heath

Welcome everybody to the first edition of our new series Planted Unearthed.

Over the course of the next few weeks and months we’re going to explore how design, sustainability, food and nature can combine to create cleaner, greener, better-looking urban spaces in the future.

At Planted, we believe that by reconnecting with nature we can build and design urban spaces which enable greater levels of creativity, productivity and improved mental health and Planted Unearthed will look to examine how we can achieve this by speaking to some of the most innovative and respected thinkers in this field.

Today, as we seek to help people affected by the coronavirus lockdown find a path through these difficult times, we speak to one of the world’s leading experts in something called biophilic design, namely Oliver Heath.

“It’s worth remembering at this time, we are part of nature. We’re not masters of it. We’re very much a guest within it and we need to remember and respect that. Our health and wellbeing is intrinsically linked to the health and wellbeing of nature around us.” Oliver Heath
