Planted Cabin at Chicklade House, Wiltshire

Available to book NOW

Immerse yourself in nature with a stay in Planted’s beautifully designed sustainable cabin in the heart of the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The cabin, designed and curated in conjunction with some of Planted’s leading nature-focused design businesses, has been recently relocated to a stunning new location on the edge of the Great Wood, near Chicklade in South West Wiltshire.

Conveniently located close to the A303 road between Exeter and London, the cabin is located in an idyllic and peaceful spot adjacent to one of the biggest woodlands in the south of England as well as some of the outstanding gastronomic, outdoor and nature destinations of the Nadder Valley.

The stylish cosy cabin has a small kitchen and cooking facilities and a wood burning stove inside, along with a sumptuous double bed with linen and mattress provided by our friends at Naturalmat in Devon. Beautifully crafted pieces including an armchair, two dining chairs and side tables have been provided by British brand Another Country, and an elegant mirror by Marque Sussex. Shelving plus other accessories courtesy of our friends at The Snow Sheppard.

Outside a compostable toilet and bathroom unit, complete with cold water shower, means guests are fully catered for and welcome to roam in nearly six acres of grounds around Chicklade House as well as venturing further afield for some of the many and varied walks in the AONB.

With special offers provided courtesy of Planted’s unique local network of pubs, restaurants and retailers, guests can also enjoy privileged access to surrounding amenities.

“The essential ingredients for a truly off-grid experience – is being in a beautiful location where you feel part of nature, good company and a hot water bottle made from armchairs.”
