British furniture brand ercol celebrates their 100th anniversary with the re-launch of the iconic 467 Windsor Cabinet, originally designed by the brands founder Lucian R. Ercolani in 1962. The Windsor Range defined the post-1945 era for ercol and set the brand apart when it came to the production of domestic furniture and timeless design pieces.
In 2002, ercol made the commitment to relocate to a new purpose-built, highly sustainable factory in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire which is heated by a biomass boiler, fuelled by wood waste and sawdust from the factory. This move has enabled the brand to combine the latest technology with time honoured craftsmanship.
Today, ercol is celebrated for its signature Mid-century collections as well as an award-winning portfolio of contemporary ranges that cover living, dining and bedroom. From the now antique pieces created in ercol’s formative years, to the Mid-century styles of the 50s and 60s, as well as the brand’s latest collections, a prevailing theme unites each and every design; furniture that is well designed and made.
ercol furniture also offer a reCover upholstery service on a selection of ranges which can bring a new life back to your original piece. Edward Tadros, Chairman at ercol and grandson of founder Lucian R. Ercolani, was intent on creating an enterprise to last for many years.
