Form & Refine is a Danish brand founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– with a common vision; to develop a value-driven brand that explores materials, preserves the Earth’s resources and craft cultures through exceptional design.
They trod a sustainable path, by carefully selecting pure materials from around the world and having these crafted nearby using time-honoured skills and expertise. Every product carries its own story. The forest Damsbo in Denmark provides a unique and beautiful Danish wood; allowing the brand to produce locally with the help of skilled craftsmen. The region of Alcobaça in Portugal is where they source clay, as well as ancient pottery techniques used to manufacture ceramics. In Bolivia, they get the finest alpaca fibre knitted by skilled craftsmen to highest standard textiles.
Form & Refine believe in social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops, creating fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, Form & Refine support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
Materials are a great passion for the brand and they are dedicated to sourcing the purest materials to ensure long-lasting products.
