Nikari creates beautiful, long-lasting wooden furniture combining modern design with traditional Finnish craftsmanship
Established in 1967, Nikari is a wood design studio and furniture manufacturer with the aim of bringing out the best in wood. As contemporary designers, they are continuously striving to work towards a better future with real materials, sustainable manufacturing and peaceful and authentic living. They aim to find the true balance with nature and make sure to respect their heritage as they do.
All their designs are made to honour the natural wood and bring out its exquisite features. Their 12 Designs for Nature collection offer beautifully crafted furniture that represent Nikari’s design philosophy in product form. In 2021, Nikari asked 12 designers or studios to design these as part of a project called 12 Designs for Nature. In cooperation with WWF Finland, a portion of the sale price is donated to protecting rainforests and forests around the world.
