Shear Rock

Shear Rock create products for interiors and accessories with a focus on natural wool, in combination with other luxury fabrics like mohair and silk.

Their 2016 collection featured natural coloured wool throws and scarves made from entirely British sheep. They have since released numerous product ranges using wool, mohair and silk from around the world.

Autumn Winter 2022/23 is a hebridean and merino check. Hebridean is a near black coloured breed, belonging to the shores of the Outer Hebrides; part of a fragile ecosystem.  In contrast to this dark and stormy fibre, the check features a luminous, soft merino lambswool from Argentina.  The collection has been woven in Scotland and the signature silk labels hand stitched in Hawick and London.

Shear Rock products use the natural strength of the fibres themselves to make them the best they can be:  Wool is durable and easy to care for, waterproof, and a highly flexible natural fibre - one of the strongest around.  Mohair is almost non-flammable, and can be significantly twisted or bent without being damaged.  Like wool, it absorbs, retains and releases moisture adding to its practical appeal.
