In conversation with Another Country
Welcome everybody to the fourth edition of our new series Planted Unearthed.
With so many businesses recognising growing consumer demand for sustainable practices long before the coronavirus pandemic, there had been a trend towards presentation over substance as businesses sought to short-cut their way to an environmentally friendly market position.
At Another Country, Paul de Zwart has been practicing what he’s preached for more than a decade, with sustainability informing every part of his award-winning furniture practice.
Lately, Paul has found himself increasingly interested in the rewilding movement, sustainable methods of food production and the relationship between businesses which place profit and growth above all else and damaging environmental practices.
Paul spoke to Planted Unearthed last week, when he told us how he forged Another Country on the principles of sustainability and what we need to do to reverse the climate and biodiversity crisis facing us.
