In conversation with Chloe Luxton

“Lockdown was a really mixed bag for me. As a mum of three young children it was incredibly hard work having them at home. At the same time the demand for Bramley hand sanitiser went crazy.”

As a champion of natural, sustainable products made with the environment in mind, Planted co-founder Sam Peters caught up with the creator and owner of Bramley, Chloe Luxton.

Chloe, one of the UK’s leading female entrepreneurs, has grown the Bramley brand from relatively humble beginnings supplying her husband’s first pub in Wiltshire, into one of the most instantly recognisable high-end beauty products available today.

Just as the once little known Beckford Arms pub has grown into one of the Nadder Valley’s most cherished gems, so too has Bramley gone from strength to strength.

But today Bramley stands alone as an outstanding success story and Chloe told Planted Unearthed about the genesis of her business, her challenging lockdown and an important charity project she’s supporting.
