In conversation with Tom Shaw

"I still cover world-class sports events but my true passion and true joy comes from the time I spend photographing nature."

Tom Shaw made his name as a world-class sports photographer with a specific focus on cricket.

But in recent times Tom is increasingly swapping from the cricket fields of England for the wild spaces around the UK. That process, for understandable reasons, accelerated during lockdown.

Tom’s new work, centred on nature and stunning UK landscapes, is already gaining significant attention and Planted’s co-founder Sam Peters, himself a former sports journalist, caught up with his old friend on the latest edition of Planted Unearthed.
