Statement on Covid-19

At Planted we are acutely aware and sensitive to the significant impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on people’s health and the wider global economy.

Our thoughts are with anyone and everyone who has been or is being affected.

Businesses and individuals across the world are attempting to plan for what is essentially an unknown situation and this is causing significant uncertainty and concern across almost every sector.

We are monitoring the fast-evolving situation extremely carefully and are also sensitive to the fact the events industry will inevitably be hard hit as governments chose to adopt measures aimed at preventing large groups of people congregating together.

Ultimately, we will do whatever is required to assist fighting the virus and will of course be ready and willing to move our event. We had initially planned to launch our physical event in September 2020 but have pushed this date back to May 2021.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow government advice regarding mass gathering and the gradual reopening of the economy.

Whatever we do, we will tread carefully and with the safety of our customers, exhibitors, contractors and wider Planted team as our priority.

Perhaps now, more than ever the importance of reconnecting with nature is clear to us all.
