Iittala, pioneers of Nordic design, believe in design which lasts a lifetime. What started as a glass factory, now celebrates generations of essential objects made to enrich people’s everyday lives.

Quality, aesthetics, form and function are at the core of the brand, ensuring Iittala products stand the test of time and will never be thrown away. Their collection includes new items but also items which have existed for more than 80 years.

Every bowl, plate and glass Iittala make is designed to be used, loved and passed from generation to generation.

In 2019, Iittala introduced a new limited-edition recycled glass tumbler by Jasper Morrison to complement the Raami dining collection. Made solely of waste glass from the Iittala glass factory, it contains no new raw materials. Their glass factory in Iittala is one of the world’s first industrial manufacturers to create tumblers solely from waste glass.

Iittala also offer a vintage service which gives old Iittala and Arabia tableware new life. The vintage service launched in spring 2019 and is now available in all Iittala stores in Finland, expanding to other locations later. Vintage service also enables customers to recycle broken or worn out glassware and ceramic tableware from other brands.

Iittala’s designers and craftspeople have been inspired by nature for decades, their latest collection Nappula planting pots and ceramic Ruutu vases are meant to inspire planting, gardening and taking care of our green family members.
