The demand for an easier and more cost-effective way to carbon footprint an organisation was identified by Will Richardson and Emma Littlewood at Green Element, a successful Environmental Management Consultancy set up in 2004.  Over the years they noticed that many organisations would love to be greener but were held back by the time and financial barriers.

In 2017, they used over 20 years of sustainability experience to develop Compare Your Footprint, which now provides the highest quality carbon footprint software and expertise to help organisations of all sizes and types achieve their climate ambitions.
