Kite consciously designs and builds regenerative interior solutions for the modern spaces of the future.
Changemakers, they are on a mission to reverse the irresponsible design trends of the past and regenerate for a better life.
Putting the wellness of humans and the planet at the centre of their philosophy- working with science and nature in a truly integrated approach, they apply their 3 guiding principles, “renewable”, “traceable” and “re-usable” to every project they undertake.
Striving to encourage a better quality of life for all, that will minimise the negative impact to the planet and create positive change.
Their latest piece the Waste Bench commissioned by Glastonbury Festival Green Crafts Field is a statement piece, constructed from 100% waste materials, to provide functional seating and bring people together. Following a circular process, this fully sustainable bench has been created to highlight the amount of waste produced in the built environment. Made from scaffold planks, floorboards, ceiling joists and pallets left over from Kite’s build projects, this timber would normally be burnt or end up in landfill. Instead, it has been repurposed to celebrate the honesty and beauty of the materials.
