A collaboration between designers Sofia Hagen, Lisa Hinderdael and ForustTM, Cocoon is the world’s first 3D printed decorative light that is made from sawdust from carpentry waste bound with lignin. Fully degradable, Cocoon celebrates innovative ways to reduce timber waste through rethinking deforestation and linear production processes. Developed to resemble an organic structure the form creates beautiful protrusions of shadows and light onto surrounding surfaces.
