In conversation with Carole Wright, Peabody Estate

“Where you have a nature deficit, as we do in many of our cities, you find you have a disconnect with ancestry.”

Carole Wright is a project manager, community gardener, beekeeper and proud South Londoner from Brixton. Carole dedicates herself to improving the community she lives in.

She is a passionate and hugely experienced gardener who manages the Peabody Estate Gardens in Southwark, where she replanted many of the plants and flowers we used at Planted’s inaugural physical event in September.

We caught up with Carole at King’s Cross during the London Design Festival.
