About Tom Shaw
Tom Shaw is an award-winning photographer based in the heart of the South Downs in Lewes, Sussex. Tom began his career as a sports photographer working with the England cricket team, travelling the world over the course of more than 20 years. Latterly Tom has focused especially on landscape imagery, examining sport’s relationship with the natural world. While always attempting to use light to create a sense of drama, Tom is determined to avoid cliched imagery while searching for a more graphic element. This has led to a growing number of print sales, and also a need to move up in format to produce larger prints, often up to two metres wide.
